Synopsis:
On its face, Moving Closer is a documentary on the filming of Pakistani supergroup Fuzon's latest video, 'Deewaney.' But in reality, it is a documentary about the nations of India and Pakistan, and trying to break down the borders between them. For months the production crew tried to get musicians, actors and directors from both countries to put this video together. After all the hard work, they succeed in getting such luminaries as famed director Parhlad Kakar, actor Shamal Khan and Bollywood superstar Urmila Matondkar to agree to work on the video. What follows is a journey that tries to use pop culture to bring two countries together.
