Synopsis

This is a true story of a land conveniently sidelined by globalizing, booming India, yet only an hour’s flight north east of Mumbai. The landscapes are almost picture perfect.. But look closely at the ground and you will see stains of blood… The inhabitants aren’t sure which is the greater evil…The government that is minting money at their cost or the naxal rebels whose violent recoil hasn’t made the situation any better.. About The Director

Anant Mahadevan is a director, writer, television actor and is seen time and again playing character roles in movies. On television, Anant Mahadevan was seen in Khandaan (1985) and The Sword of Tipu Sultan (1989). Mahadevan was also seen playing roles in movies like Baazigar (1993), Pyaar Tho Hona Hi Tha (1998) and Jogger’s Park (2003). He will be seen in the Akshay Kumar starrrer 8x10 Tasveer (2009). He wrote the script for many of the movies that he directed. He directed the television series Indradhanush (1989) and Devi (2003). He made his directorial debut in Bollywood with Dil Vil Pyar Vyar (2002) with Madhavan and Namrata Shirodkar. Dil Maange More (2004) was about a boy looking for love while Aksar (2006) was a story about love and deceit. His other release Anamika (2008) was a remake of the Alfred Hitchcock movie Rebecca and starred Dino Morea, Minissha Lamba and Koena Mitra. His next release stars Dino Morea and is called Meeting Se Meeting Tak (2009).
