Synopsis

Bubonic Films is very proud to present a delicious, totally diabolical concoction of the most delectably warped, deranged cinema ever created featuring clips that will have audiences shrieking in delight and horror at the same time – guaranteed. Heaving bosoms, thunderous thighs, voluptuous beauties, Mustachioed Machismo, Cannibalistic Killer Bears, Prehistoric things, Kinky Toe Sniffing, Rubber Crocodiles, Taliban Tarzan, giant syringes, bats out of hell, sexy ditties and even “Salman Rushdie” getting his due with the help of some Flying Holy Scriptures. Smelling Salts are advised and the Festival management have been advised to keep medical staff handy just in case. Absolutely not for the feint hearted or the politically correct or both.

About The Director

Born into a film crazy family, Omar went slightly off the tracks when indulged in and left at the mercy of the Wicked Witch of the West at a very early age and life was never the same after. Masked slashers, evil witches, ghouls, goblins, deranged Psychos….while most normal kids were playing with Action Man models, this budding horrormeister was constructing models of werewolves and vampires, only to be half paralyzed with fear thereafter! Studied film at Emerson College in the US and made a dozen horror shorts that finally culminated in the emergence of Pakistan’s first ever slasher flick by the name of ZIBAHKHANA – Hell’s Ground – the ultimate desihomage to The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and the masked slasher genre. Runs a horror themed café called The Hot Spot and writes extensively on horror with a slant on South Asian horrors. Currently seeking backing for a new horror script while also running The Incredibly Strange Cinema Club, a nonprofit club attempting to broaden local cinematic horizons and also doubling up as a DJ on two weekly radio shows, one with an alias of Dr. Phibes!
